The Company Behind SuPAR

CDMVision has been developing augmented and virtual reality solutions for industrial applications since 2003. Based in Fellbach, Germany, the company works with manufacturers across automotive, aerospace, defense, and heavy industry.

SuPAR was created to solve a persistent problem on the shop floor: quality inspectors still relied on 2D paper drawings to verify parts — a slow, error-prone process that hadn’t changed in decades. By overlaying CAD models directly onto physical parts through an iPad, SuPAR replaces that workflow entirely.

Today the SuPAR suite includes Composer for inspection preparation, the iPad App for on-site AR inspection, a Web Viewer for remote collaboration, and an AI module for automated defect detection. Together they form a complete digital quality inspection pipeline — from CAD import to final report.
