SuPAR Composer 3.2 Released: Faster CAD Import and New Checkpoint Tools

We are happy to announce the release of SuPAR Composer 3.2, bringing significant performance improvements and new features for inspection preparation.

What Is New

50% Faster CAD Import

Large assemblies now load up to 50% faster thanks to our rewritten geometry processing pipeline. CATIA V5/V6 and JT files see the biggest improvements, with complex assemblies loading in seconds rather than minutes.

Checkpoint Groups

Organize checkpoints into logical groups — by area, by criticality, or by inspection stage. Groups can be toggled on and off during inspection for focused workflows.

Undo/Redo Support

Full undo/redo history is now available for all checkpoint editing operations. Never lose work again when experimenting with checkpoint placement.

How to Update

Existing customers can download Composer 3.2 from the CDMVision customer portal. New installations will use 3.2 by default. Contact support@cdmvision.com if you need assistance with the update.
